It also emphasizes cultural competency, encouraging professionals to consider various perspectives and avoid bias in their work. All of these encompass the practice of confidentiality, the practice of cultural competence, and an ethical code of conduct about delivering compassionate care with a focus centering on the patient. Such professionals will always exhibit such behaviors and build strong, collaborative relationships that ensure positive outcomes and enhance their field’s reputation.
