Topic of Survey
My survey topic involves an assessment of the health and wellness habits of people and what they consider important for maintaining well-being.
Significance of the Topic
The importance of understanding the habits of health and wellness stems from the fact that it affects individual well-being as well as public health outcomes (Lucini & Pagani, 2021). Appreciation of people’s habits, such as their exercising, diet, and mental health practices, gives an impression of what makes a healthy lifestyle more achievable. By understanding these behaviors, we identify common barriers or challenges for people in maintaining health, such as lack of time, very limited resources, or even minimal will. This information could greatly benefit health professionals, policymakers, or organizations wishing to design successful wellness programs and interventions that can help overcome these barriers and improve lifestyle decisions.
The analysis also demonstrates which well-being dimensions people focus on more. These may be significantly different by age, culture, or socioeconomics. For instance, someone may have to be fit, while someone else’s main concern must be mental wellness or preventive care. The awareness of these priorities helps guide health initiatives toward better results for defined populations and therefore is an integral part of an overall, integrated effort in public health (Shokoufeh Modanloo et al., 2023). Over the long run, it will help reduce healthcare costs, enhance the quality of life, and give rise to stronger and more resilient communities through the support granted to individuals to foster healthy habits and give well-being precedence.

Population Definition
In this survey, the target population is all adults above the age of 18 who have shown interest or are indulging in health and wellness practices (Koh et al., 2024). This means that participants cut across various ages, genders, socio-economic statuses, and cultures. The targeted adult population the survey seeks to cover would involve wide-ranging habits in health and wellness, different priorities, and challenges in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This will provide a multifaceted perspective on health behaviors and the factors that affect them, thus allowing the identification of trends and needs across different demographic groups.
The sample scope of the survey will be high, including a cross-section of people with different levels of health resources access and varying health literacy, thus enabling insights from different people with diverse levels of health literacy (Jiang et al., 2024). Further, adults residing in urban, suburban, or rural settings will be studied to understand how location, way of living, and health service accessibility may influence health behaviors and priorities. Ultimately, defining the population in this way ensures that findings are pertinent and applicable to a large portion of society, providing valuable insights for healthcare professionals, policymakers, and wellness program developers seeking to support healthy living among diverse communities.
Justification of Population Choice
This is the reason why the focus of this survey would be on adults aged 18 and above. The relevance of health and wellness habits during adulthood calls for such a focus, in line with the assessment objectives (Ekman et al., 2021). Adults are at a stage where they make decisions about their health behaviors in very critical areas, including exercise routines, dietary choices, stress management, and preventive health practices. Understanding these habits will also help identify factors that influence long-term well-being as well as ways in which chronic health conditions may be prevented. Adults are usually the decision-makers in their families and communities, and the health habits of adults greatly affect not only the quality of their own lives but also the kind of life of those around them. This population would serve to give a holistic image of health behaviors. It is very crucial in the designing of effective interventions for improving public health as well as the designing of wellness programs.
